As Vice President of DigitalThink’s Product Management and Marketing team, Josh re-architected the company’s technology platform and re-launched its "Industrial-Strength E-Learning Platform," creating a new market and significant new platform revenues for DigitalThink. While at DigitalThink, Josh executed successful e-learning rollouts at some of the largest and most visible enterprises in the market. He was also responsible for the vision and birth of DigitalThink's "e-briefing" product - the first PowerPoint-driven e-learning solution.

In this role, Josh was responsible for product strategy, company and product positioning, fundraising, and overall marketing strategy, and succeeded in bringing the company's product to market, developing the overall marketing and sales strategy, and Arista Knowledge Systems’ leadership in e-learning infrastructure.

As Vice President and Group Director for Data Warehousing at Sybase, Josh ran product management and product marketing of the company’s business intelligence products, developing strategic alliances that generated major new revenue streams for Sybase. He also ran the Sybase business development group that established strategic OEM relationships with platform providers like Sun, IBM, HP, Compaq and Digital.

Prior to working at Sybase, Josh spent ten years at IBM in a variety of sales, technical, and management roles - focused on enterprise solutions in software and hardware. He was the Marketing Launch Management for the IBM RISC System/6000, IBM's flagship product in the UNIX marketplace.
