From Bersin & Associates IMPACT 2011 Conference. Workforce planning is quickly gaining traction as a core HR business process, even though one would be hard-pressed to find two organizations that define, automate or optimize workforce planning the same way. As a result, practitioners in this area can be considered the new HR pioneers. The extensive leveraging of predictive modeling tools and frameworks has not exactly been a common arena for HR practitioners over the years, but some organizations and innovative thinkers are trying their best to change this.
