The value of learning has never been higher. Bersin’s research finds that high-impact learning organizations (HILOs) generated, on average, three times higher profit growth in 2008-2011 than their also-ran peers. HILOs are effective, efficient, and aligned in everything they do. They are also particularly effective at stewarding a high-impact learning culture. We know that learning organizations need to excel at fundamentals in critical areas such as measurement and content but also to create a culture of learning throughout the organization. Building and sustaining a strong culture of learning also involves the integration of learning with talent management in support of capability development.
