Charles Goretsky ThumbCharlie Goretsky has over 25 years of industry experience in human capital, with expertise in HR strategy and measurement, leadership development, integrated talent management and talent acquisition. Before joining Bersin, he consulted with industry leaders including Qwest Communications, Lockheed Martin, Cedars Sinai Medical Center, McKinsey & Co., Warner Bros., and the LA County Fire Department. Previously, he led HR transformation efforts in senior HR roles with MCI Telecommunications, Macmillan Publishing, and start-up to mid-market companies. He earned his MS in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Texas A&M University, and BS in Psychology from Virginia Tech, and is certified as both a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), and Executive Coach (CPCC, ACC).

Al Johnson, Senior Manager

Al JohnsonAl Johnson has responsibility for business development and management of the Consulting practice as well as the quality execution of member-related consulting projects. He leads a team of highly skilled consultants that together with research-based consulting practices and proven methodologies help shape our members’ go-forward thinking through strategy development, vendor selection and process design. Over the past five years he has worked in Bersin Consulting, most recently as vice president of consulting, focusing on providing expert guidance in talent management, learning and integrated systems selection to leading global organizations. Prior to joining Bersin, he held various leadership and management roles in HR, Talent and L&D for Eastman Kodak, Pitney Bowes, Danka Corporation and VehiCare.

  MaryAnn Maineri, Senior Consultant

MaryAnn MaineriMaryAnn Maineri has almost 20 years of experience in the learning and talent management arena. She has been a consultant, front line manager, facilitator, and program director/designer. Maineri has extensive experience in leadership development, organizational agility and learning technologies and has consistently supported strategic and practical solutions that deliver significant results. She has worked with several Fortune 500 companies primarily in technology and finance industries creating development and strategic plans and metrics. Prior to joining Bersin, Maineri had her own consulting business contracting with companies like Barclay’s, HP, Visa, and Quantum. Her most recent corporate experience was with Charles Schwab & Co. as Director of training. She holds a B.A. from San Francisco State University and a Certificate in HRD and Training from UC Berkeley.
